How the library feeds the builder
See how names, aliases, videos and defaults from your exercise library carry through to the program builder.
The exercise library and the program builder are directly connected. Everything you prescribe in the builder is pulled from your library, so the work you put into your exercises pays off every time you write a program.

What carries through
- Names and aliases: when you add an exercise to a program, you search your library and select it, using the same names and aliases you set up. Good aliases make building faster.
- Video demonstrations: if an exercise has a video attached, that video carries through to the program, so your client sees the demonstration when they open the workout in their app.
- Exercise defaults: the details you set on each exercise, such as the default load unit, carry into the builder as sensible starting points when you prescribe.
This is why it is worth keeping your library tidy. Well-named exercises with aliases and videos make writing programs faster and give your clients a better experience. See Build a 12-week program in one sitting and How your program lands in the client's app.
